The Vision of Our Church
Stream of Life was born out of prayer.
The Heart of Our Church
As we sought God’s direction, it became clear that many Slavic families were living in cities like Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Forest Grove, and even Corvallis — yet there was no church nearby where they could find a spiritual home.
During prayer, the calling became clear:
Go where there is a need. Serve the people there. Build a church.
That is how Stream of Life began.
Today our church is a spiritual family for immigrants and people from many different backgrounds. We believe church is more than a weekly gathering — it is a place where people encounter God, grow in faith, and walk through life together.
Our heart is simple:
to build a church centered on Christ, love, and genuine relationships.
Here, people from different nations become one family.
Here, you will find sincerity, warmth, and open hearts.
Our hope is that when someone walks through our doors for the first time, they would feel something special and say:
“I feel at home. These are real people. God is here.”
Our Vision
We believe God is leading Stream of Life to be a church that brings hope and transformation to our region.
We see a church that:
Helps people encounter God personally
and begin a life-changing journey of faith.
Becomes a spiritual home for immigrants and their families
where people find community, support, and belonging.
Strengthens families
and helps the next generation grow in faith and purpose.
Raises new leaders
who will serve God and impact the world around them.
Helps people discover their calling
and use their gifts to bless others.
Brings God’s love into everyday life
so that faith is lived not only in church, but everywhere we go.
We believe in growth —
not for numbers, but for changed lives, restored families, and people finding hope in God.
